Move a domain without moving the backend
Preconfigure the new domain and routing, upload your own matching certificate, verify the configuration, then switch DNS. Keep old and new domains active during migration while remaining within the domain allowance.
Keep your authoritative DNS
You can retain your own nameservers and point the relevant records to the assigned proxy addresses. Automatic certificate issuance requires the domain to point to the proxy; you can upload your own certificate before that switch.
Automate protection
Use the documented API for DNS records, protection, backend routing and certificate configuration. Configuration readiness and public DNS propagation are separate checks.
